Pandering Jerks

Representative Candice Miller (R-MI) predictable voted with the GOP on the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act of 2006. The proposed bill was defeated. The proposed Act was doomed to fail, but to please the Religious right-wingers it came before the House of Representatives. Now:

1. The congressmen voting in favor of the Act may use their vote to continue receiving support from the anti-abortion folks.

2. The congressmen voting in favor of the Act may use their vote in their campaign ads in 2008.

3. The congressmen voting in favor of the Act may use their vote to blast their colleagues in speeches, media appearances, and newsletters.

4. The congressmen voting in favor of the Act may use their vote to CONTINUE TO PANDER to the GOP base.

Ms. Miller continues her lock-step march with the Republicans.

Jerks.

As a woman and a mother of four children - I don't believe in abortion...however, I am not against it or hold it against someone who chooses to have one - I do believe in Pro-choice.

The ONLY time I hold it against others is when they use abortion as a form of birth control. Then I get fired up!
