Una Sonrisa

Too many folks in this village do not smile as they travel the streets. Preoccupied? Certainly.

I don't want to list all of the possible reasons. Beside poverty, you may speculate on your own.

And, I don't let anyone's arthritis interfere with my mission to put more smiles on the faces of my neighbors. I am so happy to be living in Ajijic. So, when I am out and about, I smile and greet the folks passing by me. It thrills me each time I get a smile and a polite greeting in return.

Why not?! It is civility and just what you should do as you encounter another of God's sons and daughters.

If it's hypomania that influences my happy travels, so be it! On the mood swing days, I may stay in bed a little longer, but when Memo suggests an outing I go with him. And, quicker than a cat covering shit, I swing to hypomania.

Or,maybe I have reached the stable me, and though I may slip into the blues, I am happy!

And, after all, we should share our happiness and give away a few sonrisas.
