Photo of the Day

This is another view of one of our twin trees found in the front garden. I would like to extend a tip of the hat to our young Canadian friend, Dini, for identifying the trees. I say "young" because Dini is a great distance from retirement age. We do have a growing population of folks older than 40 but younger than 65. I do not like to refer to Ajijic as a retirement community because of the younger folks that live and work here. There is a great mix of Mexicans, Canadians, Yanks, and Europeans living in the Lake Chapala region. And, not all of us live in gated communities..........

I photographed this branch of a Plumeria tree today. These trees are beautiful when in bloom and rather plain when the leaves and flowers drop off.
